IMG_9882Sweet potato fries are very similar to potato fries, only better.  The sweetness of the sweet potatoes provides a nice base for experimentation with various spices.  The rich orange color of the vegetable makes it a pleasure for the eyes too.  This is one dish that is a feast for your eyes and stomach.

Baked Sweet Potato Fries

Baking the fries in the oven is an easier option than frying, especially when you are doing a big patch. It is a great dish for a party that comes together with very little effort. I made this with South Indian flavors (using the ubiquitous sambar podi), you can add any spice of your choice.
