Avocado Chickpea Salad with Walnut-Basil Pesto

To make pesto: Combine basil and walnuts in a food processor and pulse until coarsely chopped. Add oil and blend till smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Squeeze juice of 1/2 a lemon over avocado in a bowl. Add in rest of ingredients and mix thoroughly.
